| Named after the famous peak that overlooks Havelock North, my rich tomato based sauce is enhanced by the addition of red wine vinegar, roasted capsicums, garlic and basil leaf. I add a touch of chilli to give it a bit of lift but other that that it is a very accessible 'entry level' sauce that should be fairly safe with grandma and other inhibited folk who have difficulty with 'foreign food'.
