| This sauce is an interesting variation on my Te Mata Sauce, in that it has wood smoked Te Mata gourmet black mushrooms and a little Habanero chilli added. We've been giving it to our friends to test drive and been gratified by the response. Ol' Smokey is good as a general condiment sauce on meat and vegetable dishes and I have been adding a dollop or two to casseroles and pasta sauces. One of my sons tosses it through two minute noodles instead of using the sachet provided. This sauce should be kept in the refrigerator and used 2-3 weeks after opening.
