This is my interpretation of a Texan style BBQ sauce. I'm not a fan of food that is hot just for the sake of it, so while this has enough heat to satisfy most palates, it also has plenty of fruity 'back-end'. The heat is achieved through the addition of three different chilli's, including the delicious Habanero which is also known as the Sctoch Bonnet Chilli and is rated one of the worlds finest chilli's.

Hot and Grunty is great with barbequed meats and as a glaze on food cooked under a griller. My sons add it to beans to pour over nacho's and on bacon sandwiches. I like it mashed with avocado to make a lazy dip or sandwich spread, or on a simple cheddar cheese sandwich.
